Jeannie K. Olson, 68 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Jeannie Kay (Ogden) Olson was born on January 2, 1946 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to James Samuel and Eva Lynn (Kilpatrick) Ogden. She was raised in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. Jeannie was united in marriage to Michael Miller on August 8, 1975 in Amarillo, Texas. They were blessed with four children, Kenneth, Eva Lynn, Destry, and Jeremiah. Jeannie and Mike raised foster children and they would always help anyone in need. She was a very giving person who never met a stranger and she had a smile that would warm an Angel’s heart.

Jeannie had many hobbies including, line dancing, ceramic dolls, candy making, cake decorating and antiques. She especially loved being with her family.

She was united in marriage to Max Olson on January 14, 2006 at the Lighthouse Church in Gage, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Waynoka area before moving to Woodward. They traveled from coast to coast and loved being together.

Jeannie is survived by her husband Max Olson of the home; two sons, Destry Miller and wife Shirley of Woodward, Jeremiah Miller and wife Jackie of Seiling; one brother Junior Ogden and wife Jamie of Woodward; seven grandchildren, Rhiannon Miller, Kayleigh Miller, Robbie Miller, Jasmine Miller, Sophie Miller, Mercedes Miller, Brooklyn Miller; one great-grandchild, Kaden Miller; step-grandson, Daniel Morris and wife Mary of Meno; other relatives, Max’s family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael in 2003, daughter in 1972 and one son, Kenneth in 2004 and his wife JoAnn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
